Our Mission

The mission of Prattville ReLeaf is to restore, enhance and protect the tree canopy of the City of Prattville and our surrounding sister communities.

Arbor Day 2009

Project ReLeaf will replace and increase the lost canopy by planting 1,000 five gallon trees, one for each residence, business, and city property affected by the tornado, on February 21, 2009.

Church of Living Water (staging area for event) 435 Sheila Blvd. Prattville, AL Event commences at 8 a.m. until all 1,000 trees have been planted and watered.

Volunteer

We are now looking for volunteers to help with the transporting of trees within the neighborhood, hole digging and preparation, planting, watering and mulching along with the logistics such as food (both vendors and distribution to participants), possible child care, cleanup, distribution of the annual arbor day tree seedlings, etc… We need both experienced and those who want to learn. We will be conducting training sessions for the various disciplines during the month of January. Interested?
